Mānuka (Leptospermum scoparium)

Mānuka has spikier leaves than its similar-looking relative Kānuka. It has flowers (and seeds) more evenly spread along its branches, rather than clustering towards the ends (like Kānuka). Mānuka also appears in a wide variety of forms and colours, with flowers ranging from white to red, and foliage ranging from green to charcoal.
